Westin Shanghai - my lodging at Shanghai. Very classy.

Xmas is near.....

My room. Its abit pity that i didn't get the Bund view. But it's interior really lives up to its 5-stars grading.

Westin's famous "Heavenly Bed".

The bathroom is equipped with a splendid bathtub and you can see the scenery outside while soaking. No night was spared without an enjoyable 泡泡浴!

Lydia's room. As she was allocated a room at the executive level, the space area was bigger than mine, and with a higher view.

Since it was Sunday when we reached, we've planned to shop for the entire afternoon. It was almost a half hour wait at hotel's taxi stand. And to make things worse, it started to rain when we've reached our destination - Jing An Temple. We had no choice but to stay indoor at the Jiu-Guang shopping mall. Our stomache was hungry for food as we have not been fed since our last meal on the flight. We've managed to get a decent meal at a small restaurant on the basement level of the shopping mall. Other than that, we were not able to achieve what we've targetted to buy. And with the non-stop downpour, we were unable to get a taxi back to the hotel.
Since we were tired and lightly drenched, we've decided to give up meeting the other colleagues for dinner that night. All we wanted to do, was to soak in the lovely bathtub.
Thereafter, dinner was served after we ordered room service at Lydia's room. Here is the spread.

Raspberry sorbet! Yummy!
